Westinghouse LED Lamp Components
Westinghouse uses a superior driver that allows for maximum LED efficiency of the LED and complete dimmability from 100% – 10% on most standard dimmers. This precision control helps ensure up to 35,000 hours of life and allows us to guarantee our LEDs with warranties up to 3 years.
Westinghouse has developed an acrylic lens which maximizes optical control of our LEDs. Beam patterns are consistent with a 25° to 40° spread for most general applications. The light distribution is often better than a conventional lamp.
Chip on Board Technology
Westinghouse LEDs use chip on board technology which allows for an even distribution of light similar to that of incandescent or halogen flood lamps. In most cases our LEDs produce equal to or greater lumens than the lamps they are replacing.
Our unique driver/LED combination has allowed us to reduce the overall size of our thermal management requirements as our LEDs perform more efficiently. By eliminating the “finning” in our design, we created a form factor that is consist with the lamps being replaced and fits into all standard fixtures.
