Incandescent - Halogen Reflector Lamps (IRL)
The Department of Energy (DOE) issued new energy-efficiency standards for general service
incandescent-halogen reflector lamps, effective July 14, 2012.
Halogen reflector lamps affected by this federal legislation need to comply with mandated performance
levels based on efficacy, and lamps must meet new minimum Lumen per Watt (LPW) requirements.
Lamp manufacturers are no longer permitted to produce or import halogen lamps that do not meet
efficiency requirements. However, these lamps can still be sold until their inventory is depleted.
As an effective and affordable solution, Westinghouse Eco-PAR and Eco-PAR PLUS lamps
are perfect replacements for non-compliant halogen PAR lamps.

Lamps that are 50W or less: ER30, BR30, BR40 and ER40

Lamps that are 45W or less: R20
